Alma Calma was officially formed on the end of 2007 in Tel Aviv, Israel. 

Gathering together seven talented musicians who makes original Hebrew Samba music in the real authentic way like it played in Rio de Janeiro- Carioca style. Also the band combines rythems from all over Brasil like Frevo, Forro, Favela-funk, Afoxe and Choro. The unique sound of the band is very original and one of the first bands in Israel who studied Brasilian music and using Brasilian made instruments to provide the authentic feel and sound that only the real Samba bands do, all combined with original Hebrew lyrics.
